Our rosemary bush in the back yard was over 6 feet tall and looked more like a rosemary tree. After pruning it down to a manageable height, I had a huge bundle of delicious smelling rosemary clippings. Instead of throwing them out I went to the local craft store and picked up a wire wreath form and some wire twine for a total of $10.

Use the bigger rosemary branches for the base and tie them to the wire form with the wire twine. You will use the twine to secure the branches like a twist tie. As the base gets fuller and you can no longer see the wire form, start incorporating smaller pieces. You can’t go wrong, just keep adding branches in the same direction until it looks right.

It’s a messy process but it makes the house smell amazing.
Follow up note: It sheds! It went from the wall to a centerpiece on our round dining table. I placed whimsical, melty LED candles in the middle for a rustic, warm glow during a dinner party. Every time something touched the rosemary wreath, it would drop dried flowers creating a huge mess and a neurotic host. Trying to maintain the shedding just led to more shedding. It’s now hanging outside to see what it will look like once it’s bare. I’m hoping to be able to add new herbs to the existing branches to make another seasonal wreath.
